We stopped in Bologna and sampled mortadella with a capital M. Drank a Taurasi wine on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and purchased altogether too many bottles of Aceto balsamico tradizionale in Modena. We devoured Spaghetti cacio e pepe on a back street in Rome and were served freshly-harvested mussels in Portonovo at the foot of Monte Conero. And on our way home, in Alba, we spent the last of our travel funds on truffles…

Here at Ristoria we want to take you on a journey savouring the characteristic food and drink of the most beloved culinary destination in the world – Italy. Although actually you can’t really describe Italy as a single culinary destination. Every district and region has its specific traditions, ingredients, specialities and recipes; an abundance of variation as great as the varied landscapes and dialects of this multifaceted country.
But wherever you end up and whatever you eat or drink, the experience is always characterised by authenticity and seasonal ingredients, artisan skill and great passion.
This is exactly what we want to share with you in Ristoria’s bar and café, in our osteria, our pizzeria, our ristorante and mercato. A restaurant, marketplace and meeting place with differing aspects and temperaments, where every taste experience tells a story from our intensive Italian culinary journey.
